We had a great time at the Great Bear as we always do there, even though we had to load out in the snow on Saturday.
All that said, the best news of the weekend was that we raised $157 for the BC Children's Hospital Music Therapy Program, thanks to kind donations from the audience at the Great Bear. Thank you all for your contribution to this important program!
Next up is the New Year's gig in Nanaimo. We also have a few bookings for 2009, including a return to the Great Bear, and a show in March at Station Square Pub, a new venue for us. We're also looking to add some venues in Vancouver and the suburbs in the new year, especially the South-of-Fraser suburbs where we haven't really been yet. If you know a good spot that would benefit from a great Hip tribute, please let us know.
Later,
Matt
